Weebly is a wonderful to build websites with, however, there are a few things that I wish was built in, and that includes the ability to change your blog's menu colors. When you look at the Navigation Menu settings, you'll notice that there is no option for color. This is frustrating because I have used weebly themes in the past where they have LIGHT GREY menu links, on WHITE background! My visitors can't see the menu because it washes in! Here I'll teach you how to edit your theme so that you can further customize your menu options (as well as what your theme will look like on highlight! Step 1: Go to Edit HTML/cssOn the top menu bar, navigate first to "Theme" Then on the bottom left hand sidebar, you are going to select, "Edit HTML/CSS". Step 2: locate BOTtoM OF cssYou will be taken to a window, the top screen is where we will be entering our special code. The bottom window is a preview of what your website looks like, so you can see the changes live. step 3: add the css codeAdd the following code to the bottom of the text below. CSS for changing Menu Color Only:
We add the term "!important" with an exclamation mark to indicate that we want this CSS to override the default settings. The code will look like this inside the stylesheet: Replace the "#000000" with other hex codes. W3Schools has an excellent HTML Color Code Picker you can use.
