Whenever you pin a picture to from a Weebly Site to Pinterest, you'll notice that the automatic text underneath states, "Picture". In order to change that I found a neat little trick. TIP #1: USE KEYWORDS IN FILENAMERename your file so it contains the keywords that you know users will type in to find your pin. TIP #2: USE "LONG" IMAGESYou'll notice that all of my 'blog pictures' are long form, this is intentional. It shows up better in Pinterest! Longer vertical photos take up more visual space and therefore are more likely to garner attention from Pinterest users. TIP #3: CREATE A 'BLOG GRAPHIC'This is a special graphic where you have your brand colors, your brand fonts and the title of the post as well as your site information. TIP #4: CHANGE THE "ALT TEXT"STEP 1: CLICK ON THE PICTUREThis should cause a small pop up to appear, select "Advanced". STEP 2: Replace "ALT TEXT"Replace "Alt Text" with your description Be sure to include key words within this description so that Pinterest can pull up your pin when a user enters specific search terms: Now when a user pins your pin, you can easily see the description below the pin!:
